Michael D. Randall


Attorney Mike Randall is a Partner at Nuzzo & Roberts, LLC.  Mike’s practice is focused on defending employers, insurers, and third-party administrators in Informal, Pre-Formal, and Formal Hearings before the Connecticut Workers’ Compensation Commission throughout the state of Connecticut.  He strives for attentive customer service and possesses a strong knowledge of the Connecticut Workers’ Compensation Act.  He has obtained significant recoveries for employers and insurers in complex apportionment claims under Connecticut General Statutes § 31-299b.

In addition to representing employers before the Workers’ Compensation Commission, Mike has also recovered many thousands of dollars in workers’ compensation liens for his clients in Connecticut Superior Court, representing employers at pre-trial hearings, trial management conferences and in any settlement negotiations involving their Connecticut General Statutes § 31-293 lien rights.

Mike was named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers® Magazine each year since 2018.

He is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association and its Workers’ Compensation section.

Mike received his Juris Doctor with honors from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2015. While in school, he served as an Executive Editor for the Connecticut Insurance Law Journal, in which his Note regarding the ability of college athletes to obtain loss of value insurance coverage was published. Prior to joining Nuzzo & Roberts in 2015, he served as a law clerk at a prominent Connecticut appellate firm.

When he is not practicing law, you are most likely to find Mike spending time with family and friends or watching movies or sporting events. He is an avid fan of the Yankees and Ravens.
