M. Ashley Bertsch

Ashley joined the firm in 2022. She defends a variety of general liability cases, with her practice focused primarily on premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, product liability and construction defects.

Prior to joining the firm she spent nearly a decade working in-house for two large insurance companies, including a Fortune 100 global insurer, defending both personal and commercial insureds. She has successfully tried multiple jury cases throughout the State of Connecticut. She has also defended several appeals and argued before the Connecticut Appellate Court.

Ashley lives in Orange with her husband, two daughters and goldendoodle. She is an avid SEC football fan and collector of Christmas ornaments and coffee mugs.
