Jane M. Carlozzi
Jane Carlozzi represents employers and insurers in all phases of the workers’ compensation claims process. In addition to her law degree, Jane has a background in business and has earned a Masters in Business Administration. She appreciates the business needs of her clients and enjoys working with clients to determine how best to meet those needs.
Since joining the Nuzzo & Roberts in 2000 to do both general liability defense and workers’ compensation, Jane has moved to a concentration in the faster-paced practice of workers’ compensation. She likes the unexpected and she finds defending the claims of unrepresented claimants to be particularly rewarding in this respect.
Jane is a Board Certified Workers’ Compensation Specialist and is active in the Workers’ Compensation section of the Connecticut Bar Association. She is a member of the Executive Committee and is a past member of the editorial board of Workers’ Compensation Quarterly. She has also written articles for Workers’ Compensation Quarterly and presented at a Workers’ Compensation seminar. Jane is always happy to prepare and present information to claims professionals and clients on topics of interest.
Jane spends her spare time seeing New England and beyond, often by running and biking with friends. She has run (or walked) a race in every town in Connecticut. She is also an avid reader, always willing to accept suggestions for a good read.
