Workers' Compensation
The Workers' Compensation Group works with workers' compensation insurers, third party administrators and self-insured employers
in the representation of employers in workers' compensation claims at informal hearings, pre-formal hearings and formal hearings.
The group also handles intervening complaints in third party litigation, as well as appeals to the Compensation Review Board and
the Connecticut Appellate Court. In addition, the group counsels employers on risk management issues, including taking actions to
reduce risk of worker injury.
The Workers' Compensation Group publishes a quarterly Workers' Compensation Newsletter to keep clients abreast of the latest Workers'
Compensation Review Board decisions, case law and statutory developments.
