Tony Nuzzo is the managing partner of Nuzzo & Roberts, LLC and a recognized leader in the Connecticut legal community.
His practice is focused in the areas of professional liability, insurance coverage, insurance bad faith and insurance defense.
Throughout his career, Mr. Nuzzo has been active in a number of professional organizations, including the New Haven County Bar Association,
where he served as president from 1998 to 1999; the Connecticut Bar Association; the American Bar Association; the Connecticut Defense Lawyers
Association, where he served as director in 1988 and president in 1994; the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association and the Association of Trial
Lawyers of America.
Prior to establishing his practice in Connecticut, Mr. Nuzzo served as a public defender in the District of Columbia from 1968 to 1970.
He is admitted to practice in the state of Connecticut and the District of Columbia. He is also admitted to the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
A lifelong Husky fan, Mr. Nuzzo received his J.D. in 1968
and his B.A. in Economics in 1965 from the University of Connecticut.
Mr. Nuzzo lectures and writes periodically on the subjects of professional malpractice and insurance defense. He is the author of "Avoid Legal
Malpractice Claims by Doing the Obvious."
Mr. Nuzzo is a former president of Cheshire Occupational and Career Opportunities, Inc. (COCO) and a former member of the Cheshire Board of Education.
