Municipal Liability
This group handles a wide variety of municipal litigation. We handle highway defect claims and fall downs pursuant
to C.G.S. §13a-149; 1983 civil rights claims including cases against law enforcement officials and other public officials;
injunctions and writs of mandamus; and zoning/land use matters. Employment claims against municipalities are handled by the
employment group. The municipal liability group also represents cities, towns and numerous housing authorities in Fair Housing
and ADA claims. Finally, we represent boards of education, their commissioners, teachers and school leaders in personal injury,
professional liability and other errors and omissions claims.
