Attorney Jay Sexton is an Associate at Nuzzo & Roberts, LLC. He received his J.D. in 2007 from Western New England School of Law and his B.A. in 1999 from
University of Maine. While in law school, Mr. Sexton won the Daniel Webster Award for Best Overall Advocate in his law school's intramural moot court competition
and was a quarterfinalist in the National First Amendment Moot Court Competition.
Prior to joining the firm, Attorney Sexton served as a law clerk to the Honorable Richard A. Robinson of the Connecticut Appellate Court during the 2009 - 2010
court year and as a research clerk to the Judges of the Connecticut Superior Court from 2007- 2009.
Attorney Sexton is admitted to practice in Connecticut and before the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. His practice is focused in the areas
of medical and legal liability defense, with an emphasis on appellate matters. He is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, where he sits on the Executive
Committee of the Yong Lawyers Section as a Co-Chair of YLS's Appellate Practice Committee.
